Create a proportion to find the missing value of a.

[tex] \frac{21}{6} =\frac{a}{28} [/tex]

Use cross-multiplication to clear the fractions.

[tex] 21(28) = 6a [/tex]

[tex] 588=6a [/tex]

[tex] a=98 [/tex]
