When it has a slope of 3 it means y=3x+k
Given the condition that f(-2)=0
So,replace the y with 0 and x with -2
0=3*-2+k
0=-6+k
k=6
So the line is y=3x+6
when f(p)=3,
3x+6=3
3x=-3
X=-1
So,
p=-1
