Simplify the algebraic expression 3(2x+3y)-(4x+2y

First you simplify the brackets
3(2x+3y)-4x-2y

Expand
6x+9y-4x-2y

Collect like terms
(6x-4x)+(9y-2y)

Simplify
2x+7y
