Steps to solve:

f(x) = 3x³ – 2x² + x; x = -3

~Substitute

f(-3) = 3(-3)³ - 2(-3)² + (-3)

~Solve the exponents

f(-3) = 3(-27) - 2(9) + (-3)

~Multiply

f(-3) = -81 - 18 - 3

~Subtract

f(-3) = -102
