First, find the slope of the two points.

y2-y1/x2-x1

3+2/8-4

slope=5/3

Then use the point slope formula to create an equation

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-3=5/3(x-8)

y-3=5/3x-40/3

y= 5/3x - 31/3
