Work Shown:

[tex]f(x) = -2(0.8)^x\\\\f(0) = -2(0.8)^0\\\\f(0) = -2(1)\\\\f(0) = -2\\\\[/tex]

In the third step, I used the idea that [tex]x^0 = 1[/tex] where x is any nonzero number.
