Make a table of values. Take numbers starting from 0 and plug them for t. This way you will get values for d. Since your answer is 3, you don't have a lot to plug in and calculate. Then make a graph where t is on the x-axis and d is on the y-axis. According to your d values you can make intervals of 10s, 20s or even 100s. Lastly just plot your data.
This is what I usually do and it works out fine.
