If 25% of an item is 13 what is the original number?

So first we change 25% to a fraction which is 25/100
Then we multiply our fraction by the number 13
The solution is 25% of 13

X- What we are looking for is
25/100 x 13=x
25 x 13 100=x
325/100=x
x=3.25
