Decrease: Make or become smaller in size, amount, intensity, or degrees. 

Example: A seed has not has not come out from under the surface of the ground, it finally does starting at 1% until it sprouts and grows into the plant of tree it was suppose to be 100%. To start off at 0 and reach 100 its full amount, size, or life span.
