Which one is correct? “Penguins flies” or “A Penguin flies”

It could be either one.

"Penguins flies" is showing the penguins ownership of the flies. 
"A Penguin flies" is saying that that penguin can fly but penguins cant fly.

^^ isn't correct because there is no apostrophe. It is "A penguin flies"
