HELP! solve for p p+10/p-7=8/9

[tex] \frac{P+10}{P-7} [/tex] =  [tex] \frac{8}{9}[/tex] 

use the cross method solve the equation.

9P+90=8P-56
9P-8P=-56-90
P=-146
