Plug in the values (0,5) -> (x,y)

5=0+5

5=5

This does satisfy the equation.

If it does the point (0,5) should belong to the line y=x+5

(X=0, y=5)

Y=x+5

5=0+5

5=5✔️

So YES the point satisfies the equation
